**As of December 13, 2021, the award was made to American Suncraft for $360,500.00 (pending legal review of contract documents and approval by the board of directors). The project will begin on January 1, 2022 and end on March 31, 2022. Bond Amount 5% of contractor's bid, no more than $10,000 The scope of work includes the rehabilitation/painting of Huntsville Utilities' College Hill water tank. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform the Water Tank Rehabilitation called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond and proof of insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved. The estimated date for the Notice to Proceed to be issued is January 1, 2022. The project must be complete by March 31, 2022. Deadline for Questions: 5:00 p.m. Central on November 23, 2021 The Contractor, at his expense, shall furnish to the owner, at the time of execution of the Contract, a performance and a payment and maintenance bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price
