As of October 19, 2023, a design team has not been identified and a construction timeline has not been established. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference Multiple -opening tide gate facility along London Bridge Creek and a stormwater pump station facility, ancillary features include flood barriers, entrance drive, and a bridge structure to access the tide gate The City of Virginia Beach, Virginia is soliciting statements of interest and qualifications from Architectural/Engineering firms to provide design and related services. This project is part of The Lakes, Princess Anne Plaza, and Windsor Woods Combined Drainage Improvements Program (Overall Program). This project includes a multiple-opening tide gate facility along London Bridge Creek immediately north of and adjacent to the South Lynnhaven Road crossing and a stormwater pump station facility. Ancillary features of the project include flood barriers, an entrance drive, and a bridge structure to access the tide gate facility. Stationary and movable flood barriers may also be a component of this project. Bid Bond No Notice of intent to award any contract resulting from this RFP will be publicly posted for inspection at the City of Virginia Beach, City Engineer's Office, 484 Viking Drive, Suite 200, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
