RFI's are to be submitted on or before 12:00 noon, September 20, 2023. The Project generally consists of concrete and related repairs, including new column jackets, at the underside of the Ocean City Music Pier deck structural system. These repairs can include, but are not limited to, chipping out loose concrete, exposing rebar, cleaning rebar, replacing or adding rebar and filling the repaired area with grout. As part of the project, the contractor shall be responsible to gain access to all noted work areas required to complete the work. Bidders shall be required to submit with the bid proposal a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00 dollars, payable unconditionally to the City. The successful bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one-hundred (100%) percent of the acceptable bid proposal as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The successful bidder shall be required to supply with the delivery of the performance bond submit an executed payment bond to guarantee payment to laborers and suppliers for all of the labor and material utilized in connection with the work performed under the contract. Upon final acceptance of the work by the City, the Contractor shall be required to submit a Maintenance Bond (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16.3) in an amount not to exceed fifteen (15%) percent of the project costs guaranteeing against defective quality of workmanship or materials for the period of: __X__2 Years Question Deadline 09/20/2023 at 12:00 PM ET RFI's are to be emailed to: Michael Rossbach Jr., Assistant Purchasing Agent Brian Meyers, CZAR Engineering
