Work of this proposed Contract comprises of renovations and addition to existing building and site development, including general construction, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing Work. Earthwork, Utility Work, and Paving work will also be included. Amendments to the submitted offer will be permitted if received in writing prior to bid closing and if endorsed by the same party or parties who signed and sealed the offer. Questions asked via phone or voice mail will not be answered. Addenda may be issued during the bidding period. All Addenda become part of the Contract Documents. Include resultant costs in the Bid Amount. Verbal answers are not binding on any party. Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than 5 days before date set for receipt of bids. The reply will be in the form of an Addendum, a copy of which will be forwarded to known recipients . The five-day notice shall not be construed as a restriction against discussion of the bid documents or an elimination of the bidders responsibility to notify Architect of ambiguity inconsistency or errors. All general contract and subcontract bidders and suppliers are invited. Representatives of Architect and Owner will be in attendance. Summarized minutes of this meeting will be circulated to attendees. These minutes will form part of the Contract Documents. Information relevant to the Bid Documents will be recorded in an Addendum, issued to Bid Document recipients. Bidders shall complete and submit Qualification Form AIA document A305 to the Architect on or before 5:00p.m. on the Thursday, February 9th, 2023
