The due date for questions has been revised FROM February 9, 2022, at 11:00 am (CST) TO February 15, 2022, at 11:00 am (CST).. This work shall consist of full/partial depth removal (using acceptable methods) of deteriorated concrete at locations indicated on the drawings and placing new, low watercementitious materials ratio, micro fiber-reinforced, air-entrained structural concrete according to the specifications. Bid Bond: A Bid Bond/Bid Deposit of 10% of the full contract price is required with your bid submittal. All questions, either administrative or technical, shall be submitted via email to Tina Walters at twalters@wheaton.il.us. Last Date for Questions: No later than February 9, 2022, at 11:00 am (CST). Payment and Performance Bonds: The successful Contractor shall submit an original Payment and Performance Bond, each equal to one hundred ten percent (110%) of the full amount of the award, to the Procurement Officer prior to the pre-construction meeting. Completion- October 31, 2022, This work consists of all labor, materials, tools and equipment required for setting-up general plant, storage/staging areas and facilities required by State Laws and City Ordinances; and the general mobilization of equipment required for the completion of the work shown on the Contract Documents. The cost of this item shall include all permits and fees required to perform the project, unless otherwise noted in the Contract Documents, and all expenses for the de-mobilization to a 'broom clean or better' condition after the work has been completed.1. Reviewing existing electrical plans, if available, electrical layout, and existing conditions for each phase of the work to identify the likelihood of embedded conduits/wiring in the floor slabs. All existing mechanical and electrical services shall be maintained/restored by the Contractor for all work areas. 2. Provide effective ventilation system to safely remove all dust and hazardous fumes generated from the concrete demolition and any surface treatment applications. 3. Protection of overhead fire protection system to be maintained in-place, if any. 4. Protection and/or relocation of existing overhead mechanical and electrical systems, if any, in order to implement repairs. 5. Removal of loose overhead concrete from the structural concrete members in areas adjoining work locations within the structure prior to the start of any demolition work. 6. Coordinate and assist the security and property management personnel in respect to the security of commercial spaces during the repair work. wheaton place garage: . repair spalled/delaminated concrete at floors and columns throughout the structure . replace deteriorated expansion joints around the stair/elevator tower . replace isolated deteriorated construction, cove, masonry and vertical joint sealants . apply a penetrated concrete sealer on the supported floor surfaces . re-tension loose barrier cables . recoat worn waterproofing membrane . miscellaneous items willow avenue garage: . repair spalled/delaminated concrete at floors, lifting loop pockets and walls throughout the structure . rout and seal random cracks in the precast double-tees . replace isolated deteriorated joint sealants at construction, cove, tee-to-tee and vertical joints . replace shear connectors at isolated broken locations . apply a penetrating concrete sealer on the driving surfaces of the precast double-tees . replace deteriorated window perimeter sealant in the north-east stair tower . miscellaneous items
