The work generally consists of the following: Replacing of the existing drainage configuration of the Brady Drive crossing consisting of three 36-inch round pipes and a 34x53 elliptical pipe with a 6x4 concrete box culvert with corresponding concrete headwalls providing end treatments. Rubble riprap will be placed at the upstream and downstream ends of the culvert crossings as shown in the plans for creek armoring. The existing roadway will maintain its typical section and elevations and any proposed roadway work corresponds to the box culvert construction (provision of new asphalt, concrete slab at culvert crossing, guardrail replacement). All work performed shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents. All contractor Requests For Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening, to Chuck Ankney, CPPO, Purchasing Agent, at cankney@dunedinfl.net, prior to 2:00 p.m., local time. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. The City will process the requests and respond within a timely manner. The time allotted for this project is 120 days for substantial completion. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address and be accepted by the Purchasing Office by the time and date specified above. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashiers check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest. Bids which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with instructions in the INVITATION may be disqualified.
