PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Morton Maintenance Truck Storage and Wash Bay (IDOT308-0007) encloses approximately 2,500 square feet of space between truck storage and wash bay buildings and constructing a 2-bay wash area, converting 5 bays into 4 bays, upgrading heating, ventilating, and electrical systems. Morton Maintenance Repair/Service Building (D0413) extends 3 bays by 15 feet, upgrading heating, ventilating, electrical systems, and lighting. Morton Maintenance Material Storage (IDOT 308-006 & D0449) encloses approximately 1,300 square feet of space between the existing material storage buildings, including electrical and lighting. Using Agency's winter season is from November 1 through March 30th. Contractor is to coordinate scheduling with the Using Agency to avoid impacting the operation of the site. BID SECURITY: Bid security must be submitted with each bid equal to 10% of the base bid and must be in the form of a CDB bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or bank draft.
