Tools, materials, equipment, permits, and licenses necessary to install fully operational security and fire alarm systems at the Sacramento Maintenance Yard (SMY). The Contractor will be responsible for removing existing security and fire alarm equipment prior to the installation of new equipment. The new equipment will be leased from the Contractor and the Contractor will be responsible for maintaining the quality, performance, and function of the equipment. The Contractor will also provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week active monitoring for security and fire alarm systems. The Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR) with all the labor, tools, materials, equipment, permits, and licenses necessary to remove the old and install new security and fire alarm equipment at the Sacramento Maintenance Yard (SMY). The Contractor will also provide active monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the security and fire alarm systems for the duration of the Agreement. The new equipment will be leased from and maintained by the Contractor. The Contractor will update and/or replace the leased equipment on an asneeded basis. The Contractor will provide testing and inspections on equipment to ensure proper working order in accordance with appropriate laws, codes, and regulations. Any fees associated with servicing or upgrading the equipment must be included in the monthly leasing charges for equipment. Work provided for installation/upgrades will be approved by the DWR Contract Representative or Manager prior to work starting and invoices being submitted.
