Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the 2021 Sewer and Water Replacement Project. The project includes replacing sewer laterals on W. Caroline Street, replacement of sewer main and laterals, water main and services and reconstruction of the roadway on W. Robinson Street, and replacement of sewer mains and laterals on W. Spear Street and West Telegraph Street between Mountain Street and Nevada Street. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: Carson City has determined that the responsive bidder must possess a minimum of a Class A with appropriate sub-classifications or subcontractors. All Contractors license shall be in good standing and issued by the Nevada State Contractor's Board at the time of the bid. ADDENDA: All addenda can be found through the link on Carson City's website. It is each bidder's responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their sealed bid. QUESTIONS must be submitted in writing via email to Carol Akers at CAkers@carson.org and must be received a minimum of four (4) working days prior to bid opening. Bids received after the date and time set for receipt will be REJECTED. Bidders, their representatives, and all other interested persons may be present during the bid opening. A tabulation of the BID PROPOSAL will be available within 48 hours on the website. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department. NOTICE OF PROTEST OF AWARD OF CONTRACT must be submitted in writing to Carson City Purchasing and Contract within five (5) working days after the City makes a recommendation to award the contract. BID AWARD will be made by the Carson City Board of Supervisors' and is tentatively scheduled for August 19, 2021.
