As of October 17, 2023, an architect has been selected, and this project is in the schematic design phase. A timeline for bidding and construction has yet to be announced. Response Format Electronic Online Q&A No The City of Fresno Fire Department (City) is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified architectural/engineering firms to design and prepare full 30% schematic design documents for submittal to and approval from the City of Fresno, Planning Division for the new Fire Department Regional Training Center. The Fire Department Regional Training Center will be built on an approximate 40-acre lot adjacent to the existing City of Fresno, Police Department Training Facility. The Master Site Plan has been developed and it is the goal of the City to obtain the services of an architectural/engineering firm that has experience in designing the following types of facilities: 1. Training Administration and Classrooms building 2. Multiple Classroom buildings 3. USAR Storage building and USAR Structure 4. Commercial Training Structure 5. Mock Fire Station with Pavilion/Classroom 6. Dive Pool 7. 1-Story and 2-Story Residential Training structures 8. Haz-Mat Multi-Use Training Structure 9. Railcar Training 10. Silo Structure 11. Slow Skills Driving Pad 12. Swift Water Training SOQ's are due no later than 4:00 PM (PDT) Friday, July 2, 2021, to debra.bernard@fresno.gov. The City of Fresno reserves the right to accept or reject any SOQs. No consideration will be given to any SOQ's received after the above time and date. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
