Engineer's Estimate is $2,600,000.00 - 2,800,000.00 The work includes, but is not limited to: demolishing existing concrete and asphalt, installing new storm drain pipe and structures, constructing new curb and gutter, medians, curb ramps, sidewalk, bus islands and bus pads, median concrete, new pavement structural section, slurry seal, HAWK system, new luminaires, new light fixtures, pavement delineation, and roadside signs. All work items shall be constructed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work. At the end of each workday all loose material, parts and debris must be cleaned up and discarded and any stored materials shall be neatly stacked and organized. Failure to comply with these requirements shall result in liquidated damages in the amount of $250 per Calendar Day. All work under this contract shall be completed within 95 Working days from the Notice to Proceed effective date. The City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects or minor irregularitiesin the bids not involving time, price or quality of the work. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the City is implementing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements.
