If the contractor or any subcontractor fails to pay wages as are required by the contract, the State shall not approve a warrant or demand for payment to the contractor until the contractor furnishes the State evidence satisfactory to such agency of government that such wages have been paid. The contractor or subcontractor may submit to the State, for each employee to whom such wages are due, a check payable to that employee or to the State so it is negotiable by either party. The Principal Representative and the Architect/Engineer shall be given reasonable advance notice of each concrete pour and reserve the right to either increase or decrease the number of cylinders or the frequency of tests.The Principal Representative reserves the right to enter into other contracts in connection with the Project or the Contract. Building 1500 is currently operational, and the contactor should make every effort to reduce impact to the users. The project work includes associated electrical, wall patching, painting and misc. items necessary to restore impacted building components. Scope of work is represented in the provided drawings and specifications. The new fire alarm system will meet current codes, communicate with the fire suppression system and BAFB Fire Department. Alarms and remote notification will meet BAFB Fire Department (AHJ) standards, UFC 4- 021-01, NFPA 72 and Air Force Base standards as they apply. The alarm system will utilize new conduit; existing conduit mounted directly to the metal roof deck will be removed.
