The goals of the Project are to construct a new firehouse on approximately 4.65 acres of County-owned property. The improvements should include drive-thru apparatus bays, concrete aprons, parking for a minimum of 35 vehicles, dumpster, lawn maintenance/storage shed, road improvements, traffic signal, onsite BMP, and landscaping. Work is to be substantially complete within 18 months from Notice to Proceed. The County is seeking the services of a professional architectural, engineering, and construction team to perform design-build services for the design, engineering and complete construction of a new 13,300 gross square foot one story building plus mezzanine. The building main level will include a lobby, administrative offices, training room, combined day/dining room, watch office, individual bunk rooms, group toilets/showers, public and staff toilets, fitness, laundry, EMS storage, 3-apparatus Page 3 of 20 bays, PPE lockers, and decontamination room. The mezzanine level will include mechanical room, communication room, and open storage/training. The estimated combined design and construction value for this project is between $11,000,000 and $13,000,000. Question Deadline 08/07/2023.
