Reference number : 1578700 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-03-21 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The Town of Pincourt would like to obtain bids for the repair work on Shamrock Street and other infrastructures. Any response to a question from a prospective bidder that does not require an addendum will be provided, in writing, to all other persons or companies having obtained the tender documents. No information thus obtained engages the responsibility of the Town of Pincourt. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The tenderer must obtain and provide, at his own expense, a tender guarantee of an amount equivalent to 10% of the amount of his tender under penalty of rejection of his tender . This guarantee must be in the form of: certified check for an amount equivalent to ten (10%) of the amount of his tender made out to the order of the Town of Pincourt and drawn on an account registered in a financial institution doing business in Quebec. WHERE A bid bond, issued by an insurance company authorized by the Inspector General of Financial Institutions or a banking institution, in accordance with form 1809-900/H of the guarantees and insurance document. The bond must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days following the date of opening of tenders In both cases, the bid bond must be accompanied by a letter of commitment issued by an insurance company or a banking institution, according to form 1809-900/H of the same document, stipulating that a bond of execution will be granted to the tenderer if he becomes the successful bidder equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the contract (including taxes) , as well as a guarantee of payment of wages, materials and equivalent labor fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the contract (including taxes ) . INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT This call for tenders is subject to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Agreement for the Release of Public Markets in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) . ACCEPTANCE OF SUBMISSIONS This tender request does not constitute an offer to contract with any of the tenderers and the Town of Pincourt is not bound to accept any tender. The Town is not required to give reasons for its acceptance or rejection and will not assume any obligation or expense towards the bidder(s) who waive, by submitting a bid, any claim against the Town of Pincourt. If it is in the interest of the Town of Pincourt, it may disregard any defect in form and/or minor defect that a tender may contain, provided that it does not infringe the principle of equality between bidders or any prejudice to them.
