As of June 29, 2021, this project has been awarded to Decker Construction for $164,424.60. The Village will receive sealed bids for the Village-Wide Resurfacing Program 2021. The project consists of planing and resurfacing multiple roadways throughout the Village of Plain City. Various streets have existing pavement that is in poor condition, and will need to be resurfaced accordingly. In addition, there are some small isolated sections of full depth pavement repair. Existing manholes and valves on these specific roadways will be adjusted to grade as needed along with re-painting of any existing stop bar or crosswalk lines. Bids will be based on unit prices. 4 Bidding Documents may be examined by appointment only by contacting Nathan Cahall at ncahall@plain-city.com or at the office of: Village of Plain City, 800 Village Boulevard, Plain City, Ohio 43064. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in an amount equal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the Village of Plain City will be required of all Bidders. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract. A one-year Maintenance (Warranty) Bond will be required from a period beginning upon completion of the Contract work. Bidders must comply with the regulatory and licensing requirements of the State of Ohio. 10. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid, and to award in the best interest of the Village. Issued by Village of Plain City
