The Town of Simsbury is soliciting bids for CONCRETE SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT ELM STREET NEIGHBORHOOD, SIMSBURY. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment necessary for the removal and replacement of approximately 1200 LF of Concrete sidewalk, removal of 260 LF of sidewalk and topsoiling and reseeding to establish lawn, Installation of 540 LF of new sidewalk, and installation of ADA compliant concrete sidewalk ramps and related work as specified. This project is subject to State of Connecticut Prevailing Wage requirements. Contractors must comply with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Contractor Prequalification Program for any contract over $100,000. The classification for which construction contractors are being sought is as follows: Heavy/Highway Construction. Bid Bond: Not applicable Performance Bond: Not applicable The Town reserves the right to reject or cancel any and all bids, or any part of any or all bids, if such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
