The work covered by this section of the specification consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform all operations in connection with the cleaning and sealing of construction and random cracks in bituminous concrete pavements, including vegetation removal and sterilization of cracks, where necessary. Wage rates for this bid are subject to prevailing wage rates as per MGL Chapter 149, Section 26 - 27f inclusive. This bid is being undertaken per MGL Ch 30 39M requiring a 5% bid bond in the form of a certified check, bank treasurer's or cashier's check, or a bid bond from a MA licensed surety company.
