As of August 25, 2022, an construction manager and engineer have been selected for the project. Although a firm timeline has not been disclosed, construction is not expected to start prior to August of 2022. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: 1. Capital renewal of select building systems in all permanent buildings at Ocoee High School, located at 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Pkwy, Ocoee, FL 34761. 2. Renovation of campus heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system, including but not limited to refurbishment or replacement of existing air distribution equipment and the building automation system, and selected equipment and piping replacements in the central energy plant (CEP). 3. Remodeling to the extent required to support repurposing or reconfiguration of existing spaces needed in support of system replacements. The campus will remain occupied during design and construction. Target Schedule: Design/Pre-construction Services Commencement: July 2021 Construction Notice to Proceed: August 2022 Substantial Completion: July 2023 The School Board of Orange County, Florida is interested in entering into a contract with a qualified firm to provide Construction Management at Risk Services as outlined in the contract to be entered into, the form of said contract being attached hereto for Ocoee High School Mechanical (HVAC) Capital Renewal Project, listed below in the Scope of Work. The CM is responsible for the successful, timely, and economical completion of the construction Project.
