Tenders are invited for the work consisting of stabilizing the near-vertical excavated walls of the McCook Reservoir Stages 1 and 2 through the installation of drain holes, rock dowels, structural mesh and shotcrete at locations where deemed necessary. Work will also include the installation of instrumentation and monitoring devices and related equipment at the McCook Reservoir, and performance of other work as specified in the Contract Documents and as shown on the Plans. The site of construction is located at the McCook Reservoir located east of LaGrange Road (US-45), north of the Sanitary and Ship Canal and south of the Des Plaines River in the Village of Bedford Park, in the County of Cook, State of Illinois. . The bid deposit for this proposal is two hundred and eighty thousand dollars and zero cents ($280,000.00). Each Bidder must submit with their proposals a signed and completed MBE, WBE, SBE Utilization Plan which lists each business intended to be used as a MBE, WBE, SBE on pages UP-2, UP-3 and UP-4 and supplemental pages as necessary. The Bidder must sign the Signature Section page of UP-5. Failure to submit a signed MBE, WBE, SBE Utilization Plan will result in a bid being deemed non-responsive and the bid will be rejected.
