The scope of renovation includes four existing multifamily project sites and one new single-family construction portion located Daytona Beach, FL. The existing sites include Carolina Village, Palmetto Park, Northwood Village I, and Northwood Village II. Carolina Village consists of 100 units in duplexes, Palmetto Park consists of 130 units in duplexes, Northwood Village 1 consisting of 77 units in duplexes and Northwood Village II consisting of 28 units in two existing multifamily apartment buildings. Unit modernizations and envelope upgrades are anticipated for 335 existing units done as a phased rehabilitation and a new construction project site consisting of 45 new single family units for a total of 380 units. BGC Advantage and the Daytona Beach Housing Authority are in the process of developing plans for a major rehabilitation to several multifamily projects under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program. They are requesting the qualifications of contractors that are interested in bidding on the project. BGC will be qualifying General Contractors prior to the delivery of bid documents for the project. This RFQ will demonstrate the contractors ability to complete projects of similar size and scope.
