**The project was awarded to El Grande Industries for $755,732.50.** The Work under Contract No. 2021-01-06-1650043 generally consists of pavement restoration on various roads throughout the Owners Service Area. Work includes, but is not limited to, final restoration for utility trench paving in bituminous and concrete surfaces, full depth pavement reconstruction, milling of existing bituminous surfaces, bituminous overlay, saw cutting, excavation, and grade adjustments. This includes work in state roads and patches over 100 square feet on municipal roadways. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of the opening of the bids. A certified check made payable to the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi or a Bid Bond on the Bid Form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. Successful bidding bidder awarded this contract shall provide a Performance surety in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of The contract amount. The Authority of the Borough of Charleroi fully complies with the provisions of this Act. All qualified Bidders are invited to submit a proposal. Clarification Deadline - 2/11/2021 4:00 PM The authority of the borough of charleroi board reserves the right To award or to reject any and/or all portions thereof proposals Submitted, and to waive informalities in the bidding process if in The best interest of the authority. The Work included under this Contract covers the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, utilities, and services required for the asphalt and concrete repair of roadway utility openings for all communities within the OWNER's Service Area. The Contract Time is from the date of the Notice to Proceed through December 31, 2021.
