This project consists of construction of a new bathhouse at the Main Beach of Walden Pond State Reservation. As part of the project, the existing bathhouse will be demolished, and new site utilities installed. The building site is approximately 105,700 sf within the Limit of Work line and consist of site work The estimated project Base Bid cost is: $ 6,000,000.00 The work is to be accomplished within 300 calendar days of a notice to proceed. Liquidated damages in the amount of $2,000 per day will be assessed if the work has not been completed in accordance with the provisions of the contract within the time specified (as extended by any authorized extension of time granted in accordance with the contract provisions). The proposed contract includes a combined requirement of 10.4% of the bid price for minority-owned business enterprises and women-owned business enterprises.
