Regina Public School Division (RBE), Regina Catholic School Division (RCS), Ministry of Education (MoE), and the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) are proceeding with development of the new Harbour Landing West Joint-use School and City Space. RBE, RCS, MoE, and the GOS, are soliciting written responses through this Request for Pre-Qualification ("RFPQ") from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Project. The intention is for this Pre-Qualification to identify contractors that are capable of performing the work. The short list will consist of all proponents that meet the Prequalification requirements. 1. The facility is approximately 10,194 gross square meters of school, child care, and City of Regina space, which will serve students from pre-kindergarten to grade 8. The school will have an opening enrollment of: RBE - 500 opening/500 core and RCS - 250 opening/350 core. Most of the building's footprint is three storeys. 2. The City of Regina space is approximately 262 square meters (included above). 3. The facility includes an integrated child care facility, approximately 576 square meters (included above). 4. The site is designed to accommodate six relocatable locations, each potentially three storeys high. The installation of four ground floor relocatables for RBE may be included in the general contractor scope. 5. The project is expected to start construction in Spring of 2025 with school occupancy in Summer of 2027. 6. The school site is located on a greenfield site in the proposed new Harbour Landing West development of Regina.
