Installation of submersible pumps, guide rails, pump retrieval systems, piping, valves, and associated electrical improvements for three solids settling ponds at the Chalk Bluff Water Treatment Facility. The Engineer's estimate is: $467,181 - $570,999 Question Cutoff Date 1/4/2021 5:00 pm (PT) This Project is deemed a Horizontal Construction Project. Bid Security: Each Bidder's proposal must be accompanied by a copy of a Cashier's Check made payable to TMWA or Bid Bond acceptable to TMWA in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Bidder's "Base Bid" Proposal. The original Cashier's Check or Bid Bond must be received by TMWA within 7 calendar days of bid closing. Mail to TMWA, Attn: Purchasing and Contracts, PO Box 30013, Reno, NV 89520. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid. TMWA reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for TMWA or any other governmental agency, who is in default on the payment of taxes. Licenses, or other monies due to TMWA or any other governmental agency. TMWA reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received, and to reject all bids. In the case of rejection of all Bids, TMWA reserves the right to advertise for new Bids or to proceed to do the Work otherwise if it is in the best interest of TMWA. This project will require construction of 6-inch diameter resilient wedge ductile iron gate valves at various locations along the ductile iron discharge piping. The locations of each valve are shown on Drawing C101. See Specification Section 33 14 19 for and Civil Detail A on Sheet C001 for further details on valve installation requirements.
