For Clear Lake City Water Authority Exploration Green Detention Facility Phase 1 Parking Lot TDLR:EAB PROJECT NO. TABS2021004357 The work in this contract is for the Exploration Green Detention Facility Phase 1 Parking Lot for Clear Lake City Water Authority located along the east side of Diana Lane, southwest of the Phase 1 detention pond. The purpose of this project is to provide a new parking lot for the users of Exploration Green Detention Facility. In general, this work consists of: The Contractor shall obtain all permits required for construction, including all City of Houston permits. Contract shall obtain all permits and submit to LAN prior to the commencement of any work. Send notice of construction, by U.S. Mail, to the adjacent landowners at least seven days in advance of work. Enclose work area with black filter fabric fencing throughout construction and install and maintain Storm Water Pollution Prevention measures prior to beginning any demolition. Implement and maintain traffic control plan measures. Protect trees to remain in the work area. Remove existing asphalt and concrete parking lot, including existing subgrade. Stockpile subgrade south of parking lot for Owner's future use. Enclose stockpile in black filter fabric fencing. Contractor shall dispose of all other materials off-site. If the Contractor uncovers any utilities during demolition, the Contractor shall notify the Engineer. If the Engineer directs the Contractor to remove the uncovered utility, the Contractor shall remove the utility and dispose off site. If the Contractor removes any existing A.C. pipe, the Contractor shall dispose of the material per OSHA standards. Coordinate deenergizing, removal and disposal of the existing parking lot light pole. Remove existing curb and sidewalk as directed in the plans. Install proposed 24-inch HDPE storm sewer, Type-A inlets and urban interceptor structure. Install proposed 2-inch (purple) polytubing reclaimed irrigation line and appurtenances, including valves, valve boxes, hose bibs installed every 100 feet and stub outs, and connect to the existing reclaimed water line. Install proposed electrical components. Install proposed parking lot, driveways and sidewalks to grade, as directed in the plans. Place portion of proposed sidewalk and curb in the location of the existing driveway. Proposed trees and shrubs will be installed outside the contract. Contractor may be required to coordinate with the Owner, Engineer and Exploration Green Conservancy for planting activities and extension of irrigation system to the proposed island. Restoration of the project site including but not limited to hydromulch seeding, repair to sidewalks and driveways and regrading areas affected by work. Once site is established, Contractor shall remove the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan control measures. It is the responsibility of the contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all bid documents and construction drawings. The responsibility includes, but is not limited to proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in errors in the unit bid quantities and/or bid amounts.
