Reference Number 0000256435 Defence Construction Canada (DCC) invites general contractors to express their interest in providing all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a new Refuelling Tender Garage at 14 Wing Greenwood, NS. Work included in this project includes the general construction and site improvements for a new refuelling tender garage including but not limited to civil work, excavation, complete building structure and finishes and site work (including asphalt and a new parking lot), as well as the installation of steam distribution systems shallow inverted trench (SIT) and building Integrated Automation system (BACNET), located at Greenwood, NS. The total building size is approx. 2,558 m2, and the total Site Developed Area is approx. 13,655 m2. The Rough Order Magnitude estimate for this Contract is $27 Million This amount includes all construction costs, on-site work (including all required services, parking, and landscaping), site utilities, necessary redundant mechanical systems, communication conduits and wiring, backup power equipment, built-in equipment, built-in furniture, and inflation to achieve substantial completion. This amount excludes HST, design costs, travel and disbursements, consultant fees and expenses, movable equipment and furniture, IT equipment and contingencies DCC will proceed with the Tender Phase around October 19, 2023. The works shall reach substantial completion no later than 810 calendar days following the notification of contract award and shall be completed no later than 90 calendar days after the substantial completion date.
