SCOPE OF SERVICES: The scope of services required by the City of Lake Wales in connection with this request for proposal covers all work to remove existing roof and install new roof at the Citys Administration Building. The contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment to complete the following work 1. Remove existing roof system down to roof deck 2. Provide and install Building Products for roofing system in accordance with all Florida Building Code 3. Install one layer of 2 insulation 4. Install Duro-Last DLX or approved equivalent 50 mil membrane mechanically fastened 5. Flash HVAC curbs with 50 mil membrane 6. Flash parapet walls with 50 mil membrane 7. Install new eave drip at the gutters and flash 8. Flash VTR with prefabricated pipe flashing 9. Install new 24 gauge painted steel coping metal with a cleat on the front leg and fastened 12 O.C. on the back leg with screws and washers 10. Install walk pads around HVAC units 11. Seal all roof vents (48) and exhaust vents (2) 12. Reuse existing gutters and downspouts 13. Debris to be hauled away by contractor 14. Area to be cleaned up daily and keep area safe for visitors and employees working at the administration building 15. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and inspections Last Day for Questions: Friday, September 13, 2024 at 5:00 P.M. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or part thereof, to waive any informalities or technicalities, or to award contracts in the best interest of the City. In all instances, the Citys decision shall be final.
