Project area is approximately 520 feet off of Oakwood Drive in a wooded area. The base bid project is the complete replacement and upsizing of approximately 330 linear feet of 15-inch sewer to 18-inch C900 between MH G104 to MH G105. Alternate 1 project area is the complete replacement and upsizing of approximately 250 linear feet of 15-inch sewer to 18-inch C900 between MH G105 to G106. The project base bid is the complete replacement and upsizing of approximately 340 linear feet of 15-inch lined clay pipe with 18-inch C900. The project alternate 1 bid is the complete replacement and upsizing of approximately 280 linear feet of 15-inch lined clay pipe with 18-inch C900. All existing manholes shall remain in place. Manholes will need to be re-cored for the upsized pipe. Following installation of the proposed sewer line(s), the excavation shall be backfilled in 8-inch lifts with suitable soils. Project bid shall include all materials and labor required to complete the replacement of the sewer main(s), for reconnection to the existing manholes with new Kor-n seal (or equivalent) boots, reconnection of service laterals, backfill, and restoration of area(s). All materials to be disposed of in accordance with State and local requirements. Contractor shall be responsible for 811 locating existing utilities and verifying all existing site conditions, including but not limited to existing pipe diameter, invert elevations, and existing pipe material prior to beginning repair. Any documentation of existing site conditions is provided for the benefit of the Contractor. The City of Havelock assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of information concerning existing site conditions provided.
