As of November 24,2020 Facemyer was awarded the project. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. Each Bid Shall Contain the Full Name and Address of the Bidder and Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Letter of Credit in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Amount, Made Payable to the Owner, or by a Bond in the Full Amount of the Bid Signed by a Surety Authorized to Do Business in Ohio, as a Guarantee That, if the Bid is Accepted, the Contract Will Be Entered Into and Its Performance Properly Secured by a Satisfactory Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The Bid Check / Bond Shall Be Enclosed in the Sealed Bid, but in a Separate Envelope Clearly Marked Bid Check / Bond With the Bidders Name and Address on the Bid Check / Bond Envelope. Bid Security Shall Be Furnished in Accordance With Article 8 of the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Shall Furnish Proof of Qualifications to Perform the Work as Described in Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders. Time of Commencement of the Work and Contract Times for Completion Shall Be in Accordance With Article 4 of the Agreement. The Proposals Must Be Made on the Forms Provided in the Contract Documents, or a Copy Thereof. The Engineers Estimate for This Project is $1,017,600. This Project is Grant-funded by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Under the H2ohio Program With a Maximum Construction Budget of $1,021,000. Preference Will Be Accommodated as Much as Possible, but is Not Guaranteed. The Deadline to Sign Up for the Pre Bid Conference is October 27, 2020, at 12:00 P.m. Attendance Will Be Limited to One Person Per Company. The Project Includes the Following Work, Located at Oakwoods Nature Preserve, 1400 Oakwood Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840: Excavation and Grading of New Wetland Features; Removal and Plugging of Existing Subsurface Drainage Tiles; Installation of New Drainage Pipes and Appurtenances, and Native Tree, Shrub, Live Stake Plantings and Seeding. Hancock Park District Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Proposals; to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids Received, or to Accept Any Proposal Which is Deemed Most Favorable to Hancock Park District.
