Reference Number : 1693996 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-03-03 Submission sent electronically accepted: No Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 14 The Central Québec School Board, owner, is requesting tenders for expansion and asset maintenance work at École Riverside Regional Elementary School located at 1750, rue Joule, Jonquière, G8P 2E6. The work includes, among other things, the construction of an extension of 6 classrooms including an elevator, toilet blocks and collaborative spaces as well as the construction of a landing stage and the partial redevelopment of the schoolyard. Tenders must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the tender payable to the owner, the Central Québec School Board , or a tender bond, established in the same amount, all valid for a period of 45 days from the date of opening of tenders, and issued by a company authorized to stand surety. Only will be considered for the purpose of awarding the contract, tenders from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement, and holding, where applicable , the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, c. B.-1.1) . Bidding companies are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bids. All tenders must be made in accordance with the provisions of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (RSQ c. C-65.1) as well as the Regulation respecting construction contracts by public bodies . The owner does not undertake to necessarily accept the lowest tender or any of the tenders received, nor to carry out the object of this call for tenders or only part of it and this without any prejudice for the applicants.
