A total of 70 working days will be allowed for the Contract for Bid Package A with Substantial Completion date of November 1st, 2021 and Final Completion date of December 1st, 2021. A total of 20 working days will be allowed for the Contract for Bid Package B with a Substantial Completion date of June 15th, 2021 and a Final Completion date of July 30th, 2021. A total of 80 working days will be allowed for the Contract if Bid Package A and Bid Package B are awarded to the same Contractor with a Substantial Completion date of November 1st, 2021 and Final Completion date of December 1st, 2020. The project will include the design, bidding, and construction of the Expand E GA Apron Project which includes earthwork, grading, P-209 base course, P-401 asphalt, striping, concrete work, removal of the existing fuel farm and installation of a new fuel farm. Bid Package A will consist of the main apron expansion work and Bid Package B will consist of the new fuel farm work. Bids will be evaluated for each Bid Package and awarded to the lowest responsive bidder for each package individually. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date and may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids and reject any and all bids. No bids will be considered in which the Proposal, Specifications or any provisions have been modified. Bids will be received for up to two prime Contracts (may be one prime contract if one Contractor is low bid for both bid packages). Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The bidder must supply all information required by the bid or proposal forms and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied either by a certified check, payable to the Town of Pinedale in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, or by a Bid Bond in a like amount and executed by an approved surety company. The check or bond will be retained by the Owner as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into contract and performance bond in accord with his bid within fifteen (15) days after date of notification of award. Minimum wage rates as established by the Secretary of Labor are applicable to the work performed on this project.
