**As of November 11, 2020, the project has been awarded but award amount was not confirmed.** The Project entails SJCC Cosmetology/Reprographics Building, Science Building, and Milpitas Extension - Removal of existing, and the installation of new access control and intrusion alarm panels, power supplies, and all associated electrical, low voltage, programming, integration, and commissioning per Plans and Specifications. Contractor must coordinate its work with a scheduled power shut-down, as well as ongoing day-to-day operations of an active school site. All Bid Questions must be submitted electronically to online. The deadline to submit questions is 5:00 PM on 10/13/2020. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal. Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The costs associated with providing these bonds should be included in the total amount of the Bid as submitted by the Contractor. Substantial Completion of the Work shall be achieved by (75) calendar days after the date for commencement of the Work as set forth in the Notice to Proceed issued by the District. Liquidated damages - $750.00 The District reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding procedure.
