Both projects consist of providing and installing new mechanical equipment in various locations at each school for air conditioning of the existing buildings. Mechanical Construction contract includes new condensing units for existing unit ventilators, new roof top units with ductwork, new mini-split systems, new bi-polar ionization units for installation in new and existing HVAC equipment, and new HVAC web-based control systems. Electrical Construction contract includes new electrical service upgrade with new MDP, new power distribution for new electrical panels, branch circuit power for all new HVAC systems and modification to fire alarm systems. General Construction contract includes roof curbs, equipment supports, structural reinforcing of roof, concrete pads with gates/fencing, and ceiling modifications for the running of ductwork, condensate lines, and electrical infrastructure. In addition, the Electrical Construction contract at Beaumont Elementary School includes with new medium voltage switch and transformer The Board of School Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive errors or technical defects in the bid or bid forms.
