Bidders and others properly interested are invited to be present at the Bid Opening. Bids received after the time fixed for receipt cannot be considered. Certified check(s), bank cashier's check(s), or bid bond(s) shall be required with the Base Bid(s) equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid(s). Make check(s) or bid bond(s) payable to South Kitsap School District No. 402. All questions from bidders must be submitted to the South Kitsap School District Project Coordinator no later than September 21, 2020, by 2:00 pm via email. Listing of Subcontractors: Every Bidder must supply the Subcontractor list as defined under RCW 39.30.060, completed and submitted to the Owner at the same location specified for receipt of Bids. The Bidder shall name the Subcontractor(s) with whom the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will subcontract for performance of the work of: a. plumbing as described in RCW 18.106, b. electrical work as described in RCW 19.28, and c. any other categories of Work listed on the Subcontractor listing form. Any Bidder who intends to self-perform any of the categories of Work must name itself for each such category of Work. The list must be submitted in the envelope with the sealed Bid. The list of Subcontractors must designate the work for which each such Subcontractor is to perform. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT SHALL RENDER THE BID(S) VOID. No bidder may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the receipt thereof, or before award of Contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding forty-five (45) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid or in the bidding. Each Bid and other enclosures shall be enclosed in an opaque, sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and addressed to the Owner. The Bid and Contract are subject to equal employment opportunity provisions of Washington State Law, compliance with prevailing wage standards of RCW Chapter 39.12, and all reporting requirements relating to each of the above.
