Project Estimate: $915K The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to; Remove all existing roofing in its entirety. Remove and dispose of all existing aluminum gutters and downspouts Connect base of downspout to existing boot connections to below-grade piping at grade terminations. Inspect existing sheathing, deck, and exposed rafters for deterioration. Replace deteriorated deck. Review extent of deterioration and proposed repair with Architect and Owner to obtain concurrence before proceeding with re-roofing. Install ice and water shield, in continuous, overlapping sheets where indicated on the drawing over new and existing sheathing. 10.4% combined MBE/WBE participation completion date- December 15, 2020. a. Remove all existing roofing in its entirety, including all asphalt shingles, ridge, and all associated metal flashings and trim, in order to complete the work. Only remove as much roofing as can be completely replaced in one day. The intent of the project is to keep the interior of the building and structure dry during the work. b. Remove and dispose of all existing aluminum gutters and downspouts and install new aluminum gutters and downspouts in the profiles and dimensions as indicated on the drawings. Connect base of downspout to existing boot connections to below-grade piping at grade terminations. c. Inspect existing sheathing, deck, and exposed rafters for deterioration. Replace deteriorated deck to match existing thickness. Refer to unit price schedule for quantities. Review extent of deterioration and proposed repair with Architect and Owner to obtain concurrence before proceeding with re-roofing. d. Install ice and water shield, in continuous, overlapping sheets where indicated on the drawing over new and existing sheathing. Install continuous 15# felt over entire roof.
