Range of Design Consultant's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost Low: $7,200,000 - High: $8,800,000 The Project includes the installation of approximately 1,700 ft of HDD, and approximately 900 ft of open trench pipeline within private and County roads, in Ben Lomond, California, between Glen Arbor Rd and Brackney Rd. The HDD pipeline is a 24-inch (ID) HDPE pipeline. Conductor casings, approximately 108 ft and 97 ft in length, are required at each side of the HDD. The conductor casings are steel pipelines with a minimum diameter of 48-inches. The Prime Contractor's Scope of Work for the Project includes, but is not limited, to the following: a. Installation of 24" (ID) diameter HDPE/PVC pipeline and associated appurtenances between Glen Arbor Rd and Brackney Rd: i. Installation of conductor casing, approximately 108 ft and 97 ft in length, at each side of the HDD conductor casing. Conductor Casing installation work must be performed by a prequalified Conductor Casing Installation Contractor. ii. Installation of approximately 1,700 ft, 24" (ID) diameter HDPE pipeline via Horizontal Directional Drilling using the drill-and-intersect method. HDD work must be performed by a pre-qualified HDD contractor. iii. Installation of approximately 900 LF, 24" diameter PVC pipeline via conventional open-cut iv. Two tie-ins to the existing pipeline on Glen Arbor Rd and Brackney Rd. v. Restoration of work areas to pre-construction conditions
