Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles ("Authority" and sometimes "HACLA") price quotes for Monitoring, Maintenance/Installation of Intrusion (Burglar) Alarm Systems ("Work" or "Services"), as more thoroughly described in the Scope of Work, which is attached to or a part of the Quote Form at Exhibit A. Questions must be sent to Swan.Lam@hacla.org no later than August 19, 2020. If the value of the Installation Services awarded under this QSP exceeds $25,000, the Contractor will be required to post a Payment Bond to secure payment of all claims, demands, stop notices, mechanics liens, or charges of Material Suppliers, mechanics, or laborers employed by Contractor or by any subcontractor or any person, firm, or entity eligible to file a stop notice with respect to the Work. If the Contractor will perform Work on an as-needed, ongoing basis, the amount of the payment bond required to be posted is 100% of the value of the first year of the Contract, as determined by the Authority. If this is a design-build project, the amount of the payment bond required to be posted is 100% of the value of the Construction Work. Otherwise, the payment bond amount will be 100% of the Contract award. The Contractor awarded the Work will be required to provide the Payment Bond prior to commencing Work or within 10 days of the Authority's request, whichever is sooner. No meetings scheduled.
