**The start date is sometime in September 2020 and the completion is by the end of November 2020.** The work to be done for this project consist of the demolition and replacement of an existing parking lot at Mayslake Forest Preserve in Oak Brook, IL. Work includes demolition of existing asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalks; earthwork; installation of curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks and pads, asphalt paving and stormwater conveyance systems. Additional work includes pavement striping and miscellaneous landscape restoration. The project includes two (2) alternates for additional stormwater conveyance systems within the site's courtyards. Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the project and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. Deadline for Questions/Request for information is 8/20/2020 at 5pm.
