This Request for Tenders (RFT) is an invitation by the City of Brantford (the City) to prospective bidders to submit bids for all detailed work required for the Recommissioning of the P5/P6 High Lift Pumping Station located at the Holmedale Water Treatment Plant, as further described in the specifications (the Deliverables). Recommissioning of the P5/P6 High Lift Pumping Station at the Brantford Water Treatment Plant. 1. Construction of a new building to house electrical and controls equipment (49 m2). 2. Coordination of upgraded pad mounted transformer with Grandbridge Energy. 3. Removal of all existing electrical, pumps, pipes, valves and associated appurtenances in the P5P6 Building. 4. Installation of pumps, piping, valves and appurtenances, controls equipment, structural modifications and architectural modifications to the existing P5P6 building. Testing and commissioning under various operating scenarios. 5. Installation of a flow meter in an existing chamber. 6. Pressure testing of existing watermain. 7. Provisional - Inspection and removal and installation of submerged isolation valves and sluice gates underwater in live reservoir using divers. 8. Upgrades to chlorine and SO2 chemical feed lines including installation in live reservoir using divers. 9. Buried Electrical conduits, chambers, etc. 10. Sidewalks 11.
