Pre-Bid Meeting Information: None The work, for which bids are asked, generally includes the following: CONTRACT "A" - G ENERAL SITE CONSTRUCTION 1. Site improvements with work associated with the construction of a baseball / softball complex including, but not limited to, erosion control, demolition, earthwork, landscaping, underground utilities (storm, sanitary and water), dense graded base, finish grading, asphalt pavement, concrete flatwork, athletic equipment, restoration and fencing. 2. Alternate Bids as represented in the Contract Documents. 3. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, ALTERNATE BID A1" - CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT "B, ALTERNATE #1, WOOD FRAMED STORAGE 1. Site improvement work to address additions and removal of prefabricated roof structures, black vinyl fencing and concrete to accommodate the addition of a wood framed storage structure at each field. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, ALTERNATE BID A2" - CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT "B, ALTERNATE #2, WOOD FRAMED DUGOUTS & STORAGE 1. Site improvement work to address additions and removal of prefabricated roof structures, black vinyl fencing and concrete to accommodate the addition of a wood framed dugouts and storage structures at each field. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, ALTERNATE BID A3" - CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT "B, ALTERNATE #3, MASONRY DUGOUTS & STORAGE 1. Site improvement work to address additions and removal of prefabricated roof structures, black vinyl fencing and concrete to accommodate the addition of a masonry dugouts and storage structures at each field. 1. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, ALTERNATE BID A4" - SODDED OUTFIELD IN LIEU OF SEEDED TURF - VARSITY SOFTBALL FIELD 2. Lump sum additional cost to provide athletic field sod in lieu of athletic field seeding for the varsity softball field. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "C" - ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION - BUILDING & SITE 1. Electrical construction for the site and building with work including, but not limited to, service, conduits, panels, switches, receptacles, outlets, light fixtures, wiring, re-wiring, site lighting, athletic field lighting, excavation, backfilling, compaction, concrete bases, disposal of excess material, and utility coordination. 2. Alternate Bids as represented in the Contract Documents. 3. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "C, ALTERNATE C1" - VARSITY SOFTBALL FIELD - SOUND SYSTEM 1. Provide sound system for varsity softball field. Conduit for the sound system shall be included as part of the base bid lump sum price for Site Electrical. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed alternate as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. WORK BY OTHERS Work by others or OWNER that shall be concurrent to work of this contract includes the following: 1. Contract "B" - Providing and installing the concession/restroom building will be procured under a separate bidding process through Kraemer Brothers. Work of these contracts shall be coordinated with the building contractor. 2. Installation of new scoreboards will be procured under a separate bidding process. Work of these contracts shall be coordinated with the scoreboard construction. 3. Coordinate work of various trades between Contract A, Contract B and Contract C as previously described. 4. Coordinate work of these Contracts with all work by OWNER and others. 5. Utility service and upgrades will be constructed by Local Utilities. Coordinate work of these contracts with utility service and upgrades.
