Hoquiam School District No. 28 invites bids for the single general contract which includes general, mechanical, electrical, site, and other work for the addition and renovation of its Lincoln Elementary School located at 700 Wood Avenue, Hoquiam, Washington 98550. Part 2 will include a list of HVAC, Mechanical, and Electrical subcontractors. Costs of delivery or shipping for both full sets and partial sets are additional and are to be paid directly to Alpha Graphics and are not refundable. Bid Security, must accompany each bid, in the form of a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check in the amount of 5% of the total base bid, made payable to the Hoquiam School District No.28. Pursuant to RCW 39.12, no worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of any part of this contract shall be paid less than the prevailing rate of wage(in effect as the date the bids are due) as determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industries. Copies of the prevailing wage rate schedule are available directly from the Department of Labor and Industries. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hour set for bid opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 45 calendar days. The Board of Directors of the Hoquiam School District No.28 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
