Contract No. 1 - Rehabilitation of 150,000 gallon elevated Water Storage Tank including full blast and re-coating and miscellaneous repair. All non-bidders, subcontractors, vendors or dealers shall be refunded 50% of the plan deposit for each set returned to the Engineer, in reusable condition, within 10 days after the bid opening. All Bidders must comply with the requirements of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors (Latest Edition) and with the Alabama Act No. 97-225 (Title 39, Code of Alabama, 1975 as Amended) relating to competitive bid laws for public works. All Bidders must be properly licensed in accordance with the requirements of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors (Chapter 8, Title 34, Code of Alabama, 1975 or latest). Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded by a loan from the State Revolving Fund from the Alabama Water Pollution Control Authority, administered by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. Neither the State of Alabama, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting contract. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in the laws of the State of Alabama and as applicable.
