Certain portions of the RFQ documents contain Sensitive Security Information that is controlled under 49 CFR parts 15 and 1520. No part of this record may be disclosed to persons without a "need to know", as defined in 49 CFR parts 15 and 1520, except with the written permission of the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration or the Secretary of Transportation. Unauthorized release may result in civil penalty or other action. The proposed scope of work shall consist of the following and is subject to change: 1. Replace the existing computerized card access control system, including server, workstations, field panels, controllers, and card readers. 2. Maintain the HID Corporate 1000 unique coded credential for use with the new card readers. 3. Upgrade existing airport identification (ID) badging and fingerprint systems to be compatible with new access control and management system. 4. Add additional access control at Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) doors in compliance with TSA 49 CFR, Part 1542 Airport Security requirements. 5. Replace access control at six (6) existing vehicle gates and two (2) pedestrian gates. 6. Replace the existing video surveillance and recording system with a new system fully compatible and integrated with the new access control and management system as a unified platform made by a single manufacturer. All cameras shall be recorded all the time for thirty (30) days. a. Per California Government Code 26202.6, video recordings of alarms and activity must be saved for up to one (1) year. 7. Provide video display capability at the Airport Operations Manager's Office and at the Security and Badging Office. 8. Replace existing video surveillance cameras. 9. Add new video surveillance cameras. 10. Provide a new dedicated network for the new security systems consisting of both hardwired and wireless links. 11. Modify existing electrical systems to accommodate the proposed technology upgrades. a. Reuse existing electrical service to serve the new gate operator and new access control panel at gates. The typical modification will consist of 1) the provision of a safety switch that controls all power to each gate and 2) the installation of new gate pedestal framework for the mounting of gate related equipment. b. Extend new service from existing panels using mini power zones.
