**As of June 16, 2020 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids for all labor, material and services necessary to construct the project known as Marietta Wastewater Treatment Plant Aeration Systems Upgrades (the Project), located at 440 E. 8th Street, Marietta, Ohio 45750, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost for Base Bid is: $2,080,570.00 The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost for Alternate 1 is: $39,000.00 The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost for Alternate 2 is: (25,000.00) The Project includes all labor for selected demolition of existing Aeration equipment and installation of three new blowers, Attribute piping with electric actuated valves and flow instrumentation, diffuser equipment with associated piping, electrical upgrades, instrumentation and controls along with SCALD. Alternate No. 1 for this Project is Asphalt pavement along southside of Aeration tanks. Alternate No. 2 for this Project is Owner removing debris/sludge from Aeration tanks in lieu of contractor. This is a Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rate project. The Project also includes Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goals as set forth in the Contract Documents. The Project is also subject to U.S. EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas. Recipient shall not entertain the use of businesses that are listed in accordance with 2 CFR Part 1532 and Subpart B and C of 2 CFR part 180. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
