An optional pre-bid walk through was scheduled for April 15th at 3:00 p.m. Due to the extension of the governors order related to COVID-19 group restrictions the walk through is cancelled. Onalaska School District invites bids for the single general contract which includes general, mechanical, electrical, site, and other work for the Onalaska School District Maintenance Building located at Onalaska High School, 540 Carlisle Avenue, Onalaska, WA 98570. Pre-Bid Questions are due no later than 5:00 PM local time on Wednesday April 22 nd , 2020 via email to the Project Manager at KMB Architects. Bid Security, in the amount of 10% of the bid, must accompany each bid, and shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Onalaska School District. Pursuant to RCW 39.12, no worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of any part of this contract shall be paid less than the prevailing rate of wage (in effect as the date the bids are due) as determined by the Industrial Statistician of the Department of Labor and Industries. Copies of the prevailing wage rate schedule are available directly from the Department of Labor and Industries. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after the time set for bid opening, or before award of contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 45 calendar days from opening of bids. The Board of Directors of the Hoquiam School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process.
