Any contractor submitting a bid is to send 1 representative only. The representative will be met and walked through the Inwood Athletic Club entrance to the bid opening location. The work shall consist of the installation of a new 24" storm sewer, removal and disposal of existing infields, installation of under drain system and construction of aggregate sub-base for new artificial turf infields. Restoration of work area will be required including fence, concrete, asphalt, topsoil and grasses. Only qualified contractors will be considered. This bid does not include artificial turf installation. It may be necessary to conduct bid review meetings with the contractor prior to bid recommendation. Contractors should be available week of March 23rd for bid review meetings. Awards will be given based on the lowest responsible bid according to the current established bid policy of the commissioners of the Joliet Park District. The Joliet Park District Board of Commissioners retains the right to waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids according to the District's bid policy.
