The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The project is expected to start construction in Q1 2024 with a Q3 2025 completion. The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) is poised to improve the standard of excellence for animal learning programs with the design and construction of the Multi-Species Animal Learning Center (MALC) on the grounds of the Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. This project will support the worldwide One Health initiative and strengthen the College's three important mission areas of education, research and outreach management. It will provide the space, technology, equipment and amenities to facilitate human-animal interactions that demonstrate and promote current and future best teaching, learning and management practices.
