Drone Lab and Welding Lab/Shop Remodel at West Richland Center Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and that no decision will be reached until the monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees, which will be held March 17, 2020. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges District 529, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Should the bidder withdraw his bid within ten (10) days after bid date without written consent of the Owner, or fail to execute a satisfactory contract including performance bond within thirty (30) days after the written notice to proceed, the Owner may declare the bid deposit forfeited as liquidated damages. PREVAILING WAGE RATES Contractors and subcontractors are notified that they are required to pay no less than the Illinois Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Standards set forth and approved by the Illinois Department of Labor and enclosed in the Project Manual. FUNDING The project is funded, in part, by the U.S. Department of Education through a Title III grant awarded to Olney Central College. The estimated total cost for all project activities is $2,506,775 financed by the grant award of $2,249,968 (90%) and $256,807 (10%) by Olney Central College. These regulations restrict awards, sub awards, and contracts with certain parties that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in Federal assistance programs or activities. The Board reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of thirty (30) days from the bid date.
