The Conneaut Township Park Commissioners, Ashtabula County, Ohio intend to contract for Architectural/Engineering Services. Statement of Qualifications shall include the following sections: 1. History of firm; 2. Education and experience of Owners and key technical personnel; 3. General technical expertise of the firms current staff; 4. Firms experience in design and construction of park facilities and site improvements; 5. Availability of staff; 6. Firms equipment and facilities; 7. References; and 8. Recent project history at Conneaut Township Park. Design and construction of bathhouse/ concessions/pavilion building, ballfields and site amenities, Lake Erie access stair/observation deck and parking lot expansion. The park commissioners reserve the right to conduct interviews with the most qualified responding firm(s). The Park Commissioners may arrange to meet with key members of the firms proposed project team. It will be the commissioners sole decision on which firm(s) are interviewed and the associated date/time. The Park Commissioners retain the option of rejecting or accepting any Statements of Qualifications. Should a firm be selected and the Park Commissioners cannot negotiate a contract with the selected firm, the Park Commissioners shall inform the firm it deems next best qualified. If negotiations again fail, the same procedure shall be followed with each next best qualified firm selected until a contract is negotiated. However, the Park Commissioners retain the right to reject all SOQs and initiate the process of obtaining Statement of Qualifications from qualified firms at a later date.
