All labor, material and equipment necessary for the completion of the following work: removal and reroofing of two buildings on the NCW Fairgrounds; Building No. 1- Horticulture/Canning Building (51'x100') and Building No. 2- Flower/Fabric Building (32'x100'). New 36" exposed fastener metal roof installed to standard specifications. In addition to the above said work, an addendum bid is requested for the completion of the following work: removal and residing of the building front entrance for above said Building No. 1 and Building No. 2 with 36", 29 gauge exposed metal siding. Work to include new wood window shutters and doors framed with wood perimeter facing. Douglas County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d~4 and Title 49, will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany all bids. All bids shall be marked "SEALED BID FOR NCW FAIRGROUNDS BUILDING NO. 1 & No. 2" on the outside of the envelope. Bidders are advised to read all pertinent, plans, specifications, and provisions prior to submitting a bid. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids for cause.
